Legally, I'm all set. Mentally, I'm not there yet.

I got my visa in the mail two days after I faxed them my bank statements. So now, everything is all set for me to go! I went shopping, and I think I'm pretty set as far as clothes and shoes and stuff goes. I'm really excited to go, but right now I'm really busy with my Richter research and my online astronomy class. It's pretty crazy that I'm leaving in 18 days. I'm starting to get really nervous about going there, though. Not that I don't think I'll succeed, it's just jumping into the unknown that has me a little freaked out. Well, a lot freaked out. I worry about everything, and this trip just has a lot to worry about! Still trying to figure out how to get to the Foyer la Vigie from the airport. I also still need to buy adaptors for all my plugs. That's going to be annoying. I'm also getting my cell phone turned off. Hopefully I can get it turned off the day I leave and not before. I'm really glad that I'm going to spend 8 days with my cousin first. That way I can get used to being in Europe before I just jump right into being in France. It's also nice that I have a relative within a few hours, so if anything happens I can just jump on a train or a plane and go to her house.

At least I'll wake up to this view every day. :)
